Toronto Japanese Short Film Festival

You can watch a variety of Japanese short films made by contemporary Japanese filmmakers. This year, TJSFF introduces 29 films.

Admission:Single Ticket $11 ($8 in advance) 5 Screenings Pass $35 ($30 in advance)

TEXTISM
directed by Isamu Hirabayashi, one of the most interesting up-and-coming Japanese short film makers today. His masterpiece TEXTISM, his recently produced Shikasha, which was screened at Cannes Film Festival Directors' Fortnight 2010.

Palm of the Hand Stories
adapted from a series of short stories written by Nobel Prize-winning author Yasunari Kawabata.
