Toronto Japanese Film Festival
Continuing into it's 5th year, the Toronto Japanese Film Festival will be featuring some of the finest Japanese Films. Beginning June 8th (Thu) and running until June 28th, with a few select screenings in July, the festival brings a variety of popular genres such
as historical (samurai) jidaigeki, contemporary dramas, comedies and action, literary adaptations and many more.
Tickets have been on sale since May 1st and are selling fast. Make sure you don't miss out and get themhere!
Kumamon Travels to Taiwan!
Taiwanese carrier China Airlines features the mascot of Kumamoto:
Kumamon! The beloved character is pictured on the outside of the plane in different adorable poses. Following the disastrous quake last year in Kumamoto, the "Kumamon
Jet" will provide three round trips per week in order to help support reconstruction and create awareness.
COOL Trains
The Japanese Shinkansen, or High Speed Rail, are known through out the world for their innovative technology. The comfort and convenience provided by these trains is the envy of the international community. Throughout Japan there are also a number of specially designed trains
